Hello, A few of you have requested the pattern for the crochet case I showed a few days ago. Well, here it is! If you have any concerns, comments, suggestions, etc, just let me know in the comments! This pattern is made for your needs, so make it your own!
Crocheted Crochet Hook Case
Start out by chaining anywhere from 30-40. It’s up to you!
HOOK SECTION:
Row 1: Skip first chain and single crochet in each stitch across, chain 1 and turn.
Row 2-5: *Single crochet in each stitch across, Chain 1 and turn (for the end of row five, chain 2 and turn).*
Row 6: Double crochet in each stitch across, Chain 1 and turn.
Row 7-9: Single crochet in each stitch across, chain 1 and turn (on the end of row 9 chain 2 and turn.)
Repeat this process until you have the same number of double crochet rows as you have hooks. Each double crochet row will hold one hook. So the basic pattern is: Do one row of double crochet, do three rows of single crochet. End with five rows of single crochet. Change colors.
SCISSOR AND SCRAP SECTION:
Do ten rows of Half double crochet. Change colors.
NEEDLE SECTION:
Do 7 rows of single crochet. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
POCKETS (make two):
Row 1: Chain 15, skip first chain, single crochet in each chain across.
Row 2-5: Chain 2 and Double crochet in each stitch.
Row 6: Chain 1 and Single Crochet in each stitch across.
TIE:
I didn’t count my exact number, but I’m guessing it’s about 75. You can check your number by rolling up your case and gauging it from that.
ASSEMBLY:
Fasten pockets to scissors and scrap section. You can sew or glue them on.
Fill it up! To put your hooks in, slide one end of your hook underneath the “post” of the double crochet and back up.
I Love This thanks!
